Ergonomic Braille Keyboard Mount
Poltex worked with the recommendations from a professional ergonomic consultant to help mount a blind client's braille computer keyboard in a more ergonomic position.
We custom designed and manufactured the bracket to adjust along 5 planes. All 5 planes are acheived using one push button adjustable hinge, and a two screw knobs. We utilized the existing chair arm mount to attach the bracket. The braille box fits snugly in its polycarbonate carriage, and can be easily lifted out if needed.
Total cost including design, manufacture, and adjustment support: $575.00.
